In the Orthodox Church, we view the Saints as examples of how we should live our lives and as true beacons of Christ’s love for us. We display icons of saints in our churches and often in our homes (much as you would a beloved family member). I wanted kids to see the people in these icons as friends and someone they could connect with through prayer and play.
